Michael Chia is to replace Teo Siong Seng as chairman of Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF).
The private sector-led organisation announces that Chia, the managing director of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd who has been serving the SMF board for the last five years, will take over the helm from Teo this week.
Teo, the managing director of Pacific International Lines (PIL), will step down from the board with effect from 31 December 2009 after extending six years of service to the organisation.
