Relatives of some of those killed in a blast at a Gadani shipbreaker in Pakistan have been compensated.
Families of nine victims of November’s explosion on a tanker in Pakistan have received cheques worth PKR 108m ($1m) in total, the International News reported.
The payout has come from Gadani Shipbreaking Corporation (GSC) and the Baluchistan government.
A total of 29 workers lost their lives in the explosion.
