BHP Billiton has urged owners to identify what actions can be taken to help crews manage fatigue.
In its monthly Freight Safety Memo, the major dry bulk charterer says concerns about fatigue, living and working conditions and the quality of rest can be handled through the implementation of a fatigue management risk system, which uses technology to highlight health risks.
