The Bahamas Maritime Authority (BMA) has raised the issue of the stress of port state control (PSC) inspections in its investigation into the death of a bulker master.
According to the BMA’s report, the 48-year-old man was found slumped on the floor in his cabin at 9am on 26 March this year by a deck cadet who heard his cry for help.
