Authorities such as the International Maritime Organisation should let the shipping industry watch over itself in dealing with cyber risks and other issues, says Intertanko chief executive Katharina Stanzel.
"Stuff is developing so quickly that if it is regulated too tight, we'll be overcome," she told TradeWinds after participating today in an industry panel talk at Connecticut Maritime Association Shipping 2018 Conference.
