A second worker has died from his injuries after an accident at Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction (HHIC) in the Philippines.

A first man, Ferdinand Leuterio, was killed after a scaffolding collapsed on 12 May, while three others were injured.

One of these, 39-year-old Valian Dela Cruz, sustained head injuries and died on Sunday, the Rappler website reported.

Johnny Alegre, 39, and Gerry Bayuta, 34, were reportedly still in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
