A Japanese-controlled supramax bulker has reportedly run aground in the mouth of the River Plate, TradeWinds understands.

The 58,642-dwt Glad Mark (built 2012) ran into trouble on Tuesday afternoon at KM 188, according to Buenos Aires-based maritime agency Nabsa.

The Panama-flagged bulker was reportedly proceeding inbound to San Nicolas Port when she went aground in the Punta Indio Channel.
