The 11,500-dwt Jebsen-managed Cembay (built 1997) and Intership's 8,400-dwt UBC Cartagena (built 2009) had ropes snapped on Thursday night at the Norcem terminal, Norwegian reports said

Wind speed of up to 25 metres per second were recorded.

Cembay was towed out to sea on Friday morning.

Three tugs were sent to the scene.

Both vessels were due to leave on Friday if the weather eased.
