Shipping agency Nabsa reported that the 30,000-dwt Cleanthes (built 1984) got stuck on Sunday morning
It obstructed vessels heading up and downriver.
Two tugs were sent to free it. Navigation was still being interrupted, however.
The vessel was lying near to where the 74,000-dwt Paraskevi (built 2003) grounded on 10 March. Refloating operations for that ship began on Friday, while there were reports that up to 80 vessels had been delayed.
