Local media said helicopters and rescue boats have been sentout to look for a Chinese national from the 77,000–dwt Great Talent (built 2005), whichwas anchored 12 miles from Weipa.
The 29-year-old was last seen on Sunday.
A crew muster highlighted his absence, but his colleaguesfailed to find him during a search of the ship.
