A blaze broke out onboard the 83,000 cbm vessel which Fredriksen’s Frontline 2012 has since sold on to Avance Gas.
The blaze was brought under control within three hours and no one was hurt in the incident. The extent of the damage is not yet clear.
The blaze was reported to have started by polyurethane insulation materials that were used for the ship.
