Local reports said the 176,000–dwt Great Qin (built2010) was carrying bauxite when it got stuck off Cabo Rojoon Monday.
The navy saidit had left Cabo Rojo to head for Shandong in China. No pollution or injurieshave been reported.
Navypersonnel have met with port authority representatives to formulate arefloating plan.
