The US Coast Guard (USCG) said the men weretaken from the 37,000–dwt Copacabana (built 2011) on Sunday, 200 miles south ofKodiak.
Two Jayhawk helicoptercrews transported the trio to the city for onward transport to Anchorage.
The ship was about 500miles south of Kodiak when the wave hit, causing the men to suffer multipleinjuries.
Thevessel is operated by Far East Shipping & Trading of Japan.
