The incidentinvolved the 2,553-teu Hanjin Ningbo (built 2007) and a Chinese vessel by thename of Fuxin 98, but few other details are known about the ship.
Reports saythe Chinese vessel suffered an ingress of water and a loss of power. The ship’screw of seven are said to have left the ship and boarded the Hanjin vessel.
According to local media the Chinese ship wastowed to port, while the Hanjin Ningbo remains anchored in Quanzhou Bay.
