Four others were severely hurt amid 27 casualties in total on board the 300-gt Adler Express (built 1994) at Wittdun on Wednesday afternoon.

The vessel hit the dock at a speed of eight knots after engine failure.

Passengers were waiting to disembark, but were thrown around on deck.

The ferry suffered significant bow damage.
