Unconfirmed reports say the 150,981-cbm Explorer (built 2008) has been adrift since midday on Sunday while en route from the Indian port Dahej.
At 0500 UTC on Monday the vessel was said to be in position 19 46N 069 08E, some 95 nautical miles off the coast of Gujarat, India.
