The accident involving the 200–gt Alv-Snabben 5 (built 1995) happened on 5 July.
There were 70 passengers on board at the time.
The ferry, operated by Goteburg-Styrso, was sailing at up to six knots when it hit the side.
Three women were taken to hospital after the crash, local reports said.
