Nine crew were aboard the POSH Mogami (built 2013) when it sank some 2 nm off Sekupang on Batam Island on Friday night.
“It was reported that the semi-submersible barge was carrying out submerging trials at the time of the incident,” said Singapore’s Maritime & Port Authority (MPA).
