Norwegian reports cited police officers as saying at a press conference that the 35-year-old man will appear in court on Tuesday for a remand hearing.
The officer from the 172,000–dwt Anangel Explorer (built 2007) has denied the charge that he killed a missing Ukrainian woman in her early 30s on the vessel.
