On 13 November the 57,000-gt Michigan Highway (built 2008) approached a vessel in distress in the Atlantic Ocean at the request of a local maritime rescue centre.
All four crew were found in good health and uninjured.
They were taken on to Michigan Highway and safely disembarked at Italy’s Livorno port on 20 November.
K Line’s vessel was manned with 23 crew from Bulgaria and the Philippines.
