Angelito Rojas, who has now been repatriated to the Philippines, said he made his way starboard and jumped overboard right after the general alarm sounded in the early morning of 2 January.
Gearbulk, the owner of the 56,000-dwt bulker, said there is still a lot of work to be done until a conclusion on how the accident happened is reached.
The Bergen-based owner said two bodies have been found and identified so far: Renner Karl Resos Abogadie and captain Ronel Acueza Andrin.
