Police said the men from the 45,000-dwt Amber Halo (built 1995) had consumed the drink at Tanjung Priok port.
Head of Jakarta marine police Makhruzi Rahman told the Jakarta Post the ship’s captain had contacted the harbourmaster after a colleague died on board. Two more are believed to have died later.
