The latest ships involved are the 45,000-dwt tanker Carla Maersk (built 1999) and the Conti supramax Conti Peridot (built 2011).
The US Coast guard (USCG) Houston VTS confirmed that there were “no vessel movements from Houston Ship Channel Light 86 to Morgan's Point high lines” due to the collision.
