The 1,200–dwt Scan Master (built 1972) got stuck over the weekend in the Snillfjord.
Its fish waste cargo was pumped off the vessel on Wednesday and then it took only five minutes to refloat the tanker.
It has continued on to Kristiansund for inspections. No pollution was reported.
The tanker is operated by Grontvedt Shipping of Norway.
