The 2,109-gt Ano Hora II (built 2004) was on its way from Corfu to Igoumenitsa when it collided while trying to berth.
It was carrying 187 passengers in total and dozens of vehicles, few of which had minor damages.
Among the passengers injured, there were school children and teachers that were on a spring excursion.
The vessel’s captain was immediately arrested after the collision and was released shortly after.
