The Standard daily said the 63,000-dwt Setaf Saget-managed JS Danube (built 2012) was refloated on Saturday evening.
It was bringing coal into the Kenyan port when it grounded.
Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) general manager captain Twalib Khamis said the vessel was waiting to discharge its cargo.
Updated AIS data shows the vessel still moored in the port.
