An Italian worker has been killed in an accident at a Palumbo shipyard in Cospicua, Malta.
Maltese media cited police as saying the 27-year-old was hit in the head by machinery being used to loosen a mooring rope on Monday.
The incident took place on a Moroccan-flagged ro-pax docked for repairs.
An investigation has begun.
