An MSC boxship has been refloated after it grounded off Canada on Friday.

CBC said the federal transportation safety board sent a team to Deschaillons-sur-Saint-Laurent to investigate the incident involving the 3,424-teu MSC Monica (built 1993).

It had left Montreal bound for Saint John. Pictures showed tugs at the scene over the weekend.

No injuries or pollution were reported. The vessel was moored in Quebec City on Monday.
