A 23-year-old seafarer has been killed by fumes on a Turkish tanker in Italy.

Two others were injured on Palmali’s 7,100-dwt Araz River (built 2008) on 5 February.

Italian media said the vessel was in the Adriatic when the incident occurred during tank cleaning.
