A pure car carrier (PCC) has leaked an unknown amount of oil in the port of Los Angeles.
The US Coast Guard (USCG) reports that the leak came from the 41,000-gt Istra Ace (built 2007).
According to Clarksons, the vessel belongs to Ray Car Carriers.
The company was not available for comment when contacted by TradeWinds earlier this morning.
It is still unclear how much fuel entered the water, while the causes of the slick are being investigated.
