A German ferry has been partially submerged after suffering sudden water ingress at a shipyard.
The Emder Zeitung daily said the incident involving the 106-gt Wega II (built 1986) took place on 26 April at Diedrich Shipyard in the port of Oldersum.
The 140-passenger vessel had been berthed there for maintenance. It was due to leave on the day of the accident.
