A tanker allegedly abandoned by its crew has grounded on a Liberian beach.
Local reports said the 1,400-dwt Tamaya 1 (built 1980) is stuck on a beach near Robertsport, after washing up on Tuesday.
The seafarers are reportedly missing and the vessel's origin is unknown.
As of January, Equasis lists the tanker as being registered in Panama and owned by Tamaya Shipping Offshore of Lebanon.
