An Epic Gas LPG ship has suffered water ingress off China.
Local media reported that the Guangzhou Maritime Bureau sent rescue vessels to the 3,513-cbm Epic Comino (built 2007) on 8 June.
Coast guard ships took nine hours to stabilise the situation and bring the carrier into an anchorage in the Pearl River estuary.
Pumps were brought on board and the crew of 17 – 15 Filipinos, a Chinese and an Indian - were taken off the ship during the operation.
