An accident report has blamed a fire on a French cruiseship on human error.
French investigators say an unqualified officer on Ponant's 10,900-gt Le Boreal (built 2010) tried to change a clogged fuel filter while the ship was off the Falkland islands last November.
But he tackled the wrong filter, which was not blocked and sprayed fuel oil on to a hot engine, USA Today reported.
