Four more bodies found

Italian divers have located the bodies of four more victims of the Costa Concordia tragedy.

It brings to 21 the number of bodies found in the wreck of the Costa Cruises vessel, which hit rocks and capsized off Giglio on 13 January.

"Bodies of victims have been located. It seems there are four. The operation to recover them is under way," civil protection agency spokeswoman Francesca Maffini told AFP.

A total of 32 people died in the accident.

One recovery source said: "The bodies are in a state of decomposition after all this time in the water. It is difficult to say exactly how many have been found."

Some reports suggested a woman and a child had been found.

The bodies were discovered on deck four. Divers were acting on survivors' indications of where the bodies of those still missing were likely to be found.

Before the latest find, 15 people were unaccounted for: six Germans, four Italians including a five-year-old girl, a French couple, two Americans and an Indian crew member.
