Japanese shipowner NYK has taken a minor stake in the initial public offering (IPO) of Vietnam Ocean Shipping Agency (VOSA).
The stake of 2.75% (320,000 shares) is held by NYK Group South East Asia Pte, NYK’s subsidiary in Singapore. No financial terms were disclosed.
VOSA, which is one of Vietnam’s largest shipping agencies, has served as the NYK Group’s general agent in Vietnam since 1995.
