The world’s largest icebreaker will start sea trials this month after a hugely delayed construction process.
The 25,000-dwt 50 Let Pobedy has now been completed at Baltic Shipyard in St Petersburg, but it has taken 17 years to finish.
Yard boss Alexander Chistov said a state commission would come to the shipyard this week to assess the state of the ship, Russian media reported.
