A tug and crane barge are due to arrive late Wednesday to start offloading cargo from the grounded Lys-Line cargoship Lysfoss (built 1989).
Salvors expect to offload the 40 deck containers and remove cargo pallets from the ship's hold in an effort to loosen the bow and stabilise the vessel, before attempting to pull it off the rocks.
Lysfoss hit rocks on the northern tip of Mull, near Tobermoray early on Monday morning.
