In line with many industry insiders’ predictions, the combined fleet of 550 ships formed by AP Moller-Maersk’s takeover of P&O Nedlloyd will be known as Maersk Line.

As the entries to TradeWinds’ naming competition flooded in on Tuesday and Wednesday, it was clear that Maersk Line was the popular choice.
