Norden has scooped its second major contract in as many weeks as it continues a strategy to grow its position in the biomass transportation business.
The Danish shipowner has penned a nine-year contract with Pinnacle Renewable Energy for the transportation of wood pellets out of Vancouver and Prince Rupert in Western Canada to Europe.
The deal will result in eight supramax cargoes per year when the contract begins in 2018.
