Eastern Pacific Shipping this week sold the 6,342-teu containership Botswana (built 1998) for demolition.
The price achieved is $398 per ldt, or $10.5m, but the destination is not known. Last week, Eastern Pacific sold the 4,206-teu MSC Claudia (built 1989) to India for $372 per ldt.
German owner Reederei NSB has sold the 1,022-teu containership Frontier (built 1987) for $395 per ldt.
