Bosses at top dry cargo charterer Noble are a bit sensitive about revealing their respective salaries, it has emerged.

The Singapore-listed company says revealing executives’ remuneration would put the company at a disadvantage.

“Many of the company’s competitors are private and do not publish remuneration information, and the general sensitivity and confidentiality of remuneration matters,” Noble said.

Singapore Exchange rules recommend that a company list remuneration of at least the top five executives in bands of $250,000.
