Greek owner Eurobulk has hit the jackpot with a supramax bulker it bought a little more than a year ago.
The company has sold the Kawasaki-built, 55,000-dwt Eressos Luck (built 2009) to an undisclosed buyer for $14.5m, according to sources. UK-based online platform VesselsValue says the ship is worth $12.7m. Eurobulk bought the vessel at the bottom of the market as Calypso Colossus from K Line of Japan for just $8.1m.
