Fledgling Greek company S-Bulkers has added its third unit since it was set up barely a year ago.
The Dimitrios Souravlas-led company has emerged as the buyer of a handysize sold by Greek peer Seapraxis Maritime last month. The Oshima-built, 33,700-dwt Alpha Praxis (built 2004) has changed hands for $6.65m.
The ship already has been incorporated into S-Bulkers’ fleet as the S-Brand.
