The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) touched a near three-year high on Monday, supported by higher rates across all vessel segments.

The index gained 23 points to 1,355 points – the highest in 34 months helped by some routes on the BCI reaching a three year high

“Capesize dry bulkers have maintained momentum through the weekend with assessed earnings touching a new multi-year high,” Clarksons Platou Securities said.
