Australia’s Port Hedland has resumed the export of live cattle after an absence of four years, it has confirmed.

The first live export shipment from the Queensland facility since 2013, recently departed bound for Indonesia.

Landside operations manager, Jon Giles said that the recent investment by Pilbara Ports Authority into new infrastructure upgrades at the port had led to a safe and efficient operation.
