Libya's coastguard has seized an Albanian cargoship suspected of smuggling construction materials out of the country.
The 2,200-dwt Envi I (built 1984) was intercepted off Zawia on Friday, the Libyan Herald reported.
The vessel was headed to Malta. Its eight crew - five Albanians and three Montenegrins - have been held on board.
The owner is listed as Envi & EE of Albania, which TradeWinds has been unable to contact.
