John Angelicoussis - who has splashed out more than $500m on VLCC newbuildings at DSME this year - has now turned his attention to bulk carriers.
He is being linked with an order of up to four newcastlemax bulkers at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS).
The deal, signed by Anangel Shipping Enterprises, is for two firm vessels plus two options, sources suggest.
