A Japanese bulker has grounded off Taiwan due to engine failure, the island's Maritime and Port Bureau said.
The 96,000-dwt Harvest Sky (built 2013) got stuck 0.3 nautical miles off Taoyuan country in rough seas on Saturday, the statement added, according to the CNA news agency.
It blamed a malfunction of the main engines.
The navy had informed the bureau of the grounding.
