New York-listed Genco Shipping & Trading has continued a trend of building up its in-house commercial expertise this week with the hire of shipbroker Ivo Kempenaer from Simpson Spence Young.
The Singapore-based capesize broker is to head a new office for Genco in the Lion City while taking charge of major bulks — the latest of several moves in 2017 to bolster in-house commercial management.
